The PEIDC Continuing Competence Program (CCP) for dentists has been updated. The online registration system reflects the new requirements for the 2025–2028 cycle.
The revised PEIDC Continuing Competence Program (CCP) for general dentists and dental specialists is now in effect for the 2025–2028 cycle (1 April 2025 - 31 March 2028).
Dentists must complete 90 CCP credits, including 30 Category 1 credits, and complete the Management of Medical Emergencies in Dental Clinics course at least once during the cycle. Requirements for new registrants will be prorated based on the date of registration. Qualifying CCP experiences fall into three categories, with minimum and maximum requirements for each category and credit limits for certain experiences.
The online registration system has been updated to support these requirements and to allow accurate recording and tracking of CCP experiences.
