Monday, April 20, 2026
PEIDC has introduced a new practice standard for advanced facial therapies, including neuromodulator use. Dentists must obtain a permit, provide proof of appropriate training, and renew annually.
The College has approved a new Practice Standard for Advanced Facial Therapies, which includes the administration of neuromodulators. The standard is in effect as of 18 February 2026.
Under this new standard, all dentists who administer neuromodulators are required to obtain a permit from the College. As part of the application process, dentists must submit proof of completed training at an appropriate level.
Permits must be renewed annually during the College’s regular renewal period. Dentists currently providing these services should review the new requirements and ensure they are in compliance.
